Obituary
Johnny Wilson Etheridge, 84, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019. He was born September 19, 1935 in Nash County to the late John Henry Etheridge and Blanchie Medlin Etheridge. Johnny graduated from Bunn High School and worked with Athey Manufacturing with 30 years of service. After retirement, he returned to work with Walmart.
He is survived by his sister, Molly Bunn of Wendell; brothers: Jimmy Etheridge of Tarboro and Thomas Etheridge of Zebulon; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Evelyn Patterson, Sonia Hinnant, and Henry Etheridge.
There will be no formal visitation however, anyone wishing to pay their respects may view between the hours of 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, Saturday, December 28, 2019 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Pearce Baptist Church Cemetery, 4636 Pearces Road, Zebulon, NC 27597.
