Jerry Mack Hall

Jerry Mack Hall, Sr., 83, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023. He was born August 8, 1939 in Lee County to the late Samuel Luther Hall and Frances Douglas Hall. Jerry graduated from Knightdale High school in 1957.  Jerry served his country in the US Air Force for four years. He retired after 34 years of service as a cable repairman with Bellsouth. Jerry was a member at Knightdale Baptist Church and especially enjoyed being a part of his Sunday School class.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. Burial will follow at the New Knightdale Baptist Church Cemetery on Mailman Road with military honors.

The family will receive relatives and friends Monday, January 9, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. 

He is survived by son, Jerry Mack Hall, Jr.; daughter, Wesley Barrow   Meyers (Tommy); grandchildren, Christopher Barrow (Mary Beth),      Cameron Barrow, Cassie B. Kenna (Jon), Kirby B. Martin, Kara Suzanne Barrow, Ryan Hall, Kennedy Hall, Kendall Hall, Corey Barrow Meyers and Alexis Barrow Meyers; great-grandchildren: Avery Hudson, Rivers Kenna, Mikey Martin, and Benjamin Martin; sisters, Janet H. Jones, Patricia H. Mangum; several special nieces and nephews, and special friend, Lucille Trent.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his infant great-granddaughter, Karsynn Hopkins.
