Jerome Ward Miles, Sr.

Jerome Ward Miles, Sr., 80, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021. He was born January 5, 1941 in Wake County to the late Daniel Webster Miles and Lenora Hoyle Miles. He graduated from Broughton High School in 1952. Jerome retired with 36 years of service with CP&L / Duke Progress Energy and 16 years of service with Gulf South. 

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, April 2, 2021 at Oakwood Cemetery, 701 Oakwood Ave, Raleigh. 

He is survived by son, Jay Miles; sister, Eunice Jeanette Marshall; brother, Willie Ray Miles; several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Jerome was preceded in death by wife, Barbara Danieley Miles; daughter, Janice Diane Miles.
