Jan (Holton) Richardson

Jan Holton Richardson, 64, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020. She was born January 17, 1956 in Wake County to the late Lynwood Earl Holton and Mary Anderson Holton. Jan retired in 2011 with over 30 years of service from United Parcel Service. Jan was affectionately known as JR to her DR and others. Jan is remembered for her devoted love for others, passionate love for Jesus and her grandchildren. She enjoyed football, flower decorating and “flying pigs”. 

The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Central Baptist Church, 11109 Poole Rd, Wendell. A celebration of life will follow at 7:00 pm. 

Graveside service 11:00 am, Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Central Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Surviving: husband, Dannie Ray Richardson; daughter, Meredith Richardson Shrader and husband, Daniel Edward Shrader; grandchildren: Lily Audrey Shrader, Hosea Ray Shrader, Janessa Sophia Shrader; brother, Barry Dellinger-Holton and wife, Janis Dellinger-Holton; cousins: Ann Doyle Stephens, Edward John Doyle, Jr., Stephen Christopher Doyle, Sylvia Anderson Moore; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Baptist Church Building Fund.
