Obituary

James “Jimmy” Vernon Liverman, Jr., 60, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021. He was born March 18, 1961 in Massachusetts to James Vernon Liverman, Sr. and the late Dianne Cort Liverman. Jimmy honorably served his country in the US Navy and was the co-owner of Liverman Machine Shop, LLC in Zebulon.

Jimmy was the love of Tammy’s life and he treated her like a queen. He was the best role model and  father, no one did it better. He was a proud and loving father who adored his son, grandchildren, great-nieces and great-nephew. He loved them and his nieces and nephews unconditionally.

Teaching children about Jesus was one of his passions and he loved them all. Jimmy, aka, Dogg always said, the kids he taught at church were his kids and no matter how old they got, he still considered them his kids. As one of his kids texted to Tammy, “You saw the Lord through Dogg. He cared about us. He didn’t just talk it, he was about it.”
