James “Jim” Lynn Peck, 71, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022. He was born May 23, 1950 in Winston-Salem, NC to the late LaVern A. Peck, Jr. and Beryle Williams Peck. He retired as a supervisor from Rockwell/Flowserve.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, May 26, 2022 at East Wake Church of God, 2709 NC 97 Hwy, Wendell. Inurnment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 am at the church.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Richardson Peck; sons: James “Jim” V. Peck, Desmond Peck (Amy), Dustin Peck; step-sons: Mark Travis Ferrell (Catherine), Steve A. Ferrell (Hannah), David A. Ferrell; grandchildren: Ace Weston Peck, McKenly Ferrell, Tyler Austin Ferrell, Brileigh Hope Stocks, Julianne Faith Stocks, Phillip Jordan Stocks; brother, David Peck (Carolyn); sisters: Nancy Boles, Sharon Creech (Wayne).

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Peck.
