Henrietta P Poole

Henrietta P. Poole, 80, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020. She was born August 25, 1940 in Wake County to the late Lattie Afus Poole and Virtrue Mooneyham Poole. Henrietta graduated from Cary High School and worked at Progress Energy for 8 years. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Raleigh. 

The family will receive relatives and friends 2:00 to 4:00 pm, Thursday, October 8, 2020 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. Masks and social distancing are required while inside the funeral home. 

A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, October 9, 2020 at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh. 

Henrietta is survived by her longtime and faithful companion, John Timothy Short; sons: William Paul Franks, Jr. and wife, Patricia of Valentines, VA; Kenneth Ray Franks of Bunn; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Horace Edward Poole of Pittsboro. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Albert Barden and Samuel Watts; brother, Billy Poole.
