Glenda Kay Harris

Glenda Kay Harris, 81, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022. She was born November 2, 1940 in Durham County to the late Charlie Ruffin Harris and Eula Hardy Harris. Kay retired in 1989 from Memorex Telex Corporation in the export division. 

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Corinth Baptist Church, 13450 N Carolina 96, Zebulon. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. 

UPDATE:  There will be no visitation, service only at 11:00 am

She is survived by her son, H. Ruffin Denton; daughter-in-law, Teresa Price Denton; grandchildren: Stacey Meagan Denton, Matthew Ruffin Denton; devoted sister: Barbara H. Alford (Jimmy); sister, Judith H. Eason; several nieces, nephews, cousins, close family and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 128 S. Tryon Street, Suite 1588, Charlotte, NC 28202. Kay received a heart transplant which extended her life for many years, which she and her family are truly grateful for.
