Geraldine (Glover) Baker

Geraldine Glover Baker, 85, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023. She was born November 8, 1937 in Wake County to the late Jack Glover and Lurla Morgan Glover. She graduated from Knightdale High School in 1956. She retired after 20 years of service with Measurements Group in Wendell. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly. 

A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, January 20, 2023 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, 8400 Poole Road, Knightdale. Entombment will follow. 

She is survived by her daughters: Ginger B. Whitehurst (C.D.), Jill B. Montgomery (Michael); grandchildren: William, Benjamin and Nicholas Whitehurst, Max Leary; sisters: Barbara Ann G. Burchette, Joyce G. Keith, Sue G. Bailey (Barry); sister-in-law, Betty Glover; and a host of special nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Preston Baker whom she was married to for 56 years; brothers: William and Wallace Glover.   

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 5171 Glenwood Ave, #101, Raleigh, NC 27612.
