Frank Thomas Marshall

Frank Thomas Marshall, 72, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at his home after months of declining health. He was born December 18, 1948 in Wake County to the late John Robert Marshall and Bernice Clark Marshall. Frank graduated from Broughton High School and Hardbarger Business College. He joined the US Army in 1966, where he honorably served his country until 1972, with a tour of duty during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he worked with the US Postal Service until his retirement.

Frank is survived by his wife, Debra Woods Marshall; daughter, Shelley Marshall of Park City, UT; son, Zachary Marshall and wife Kathleen of Mebane; grandchildren: Ava Cruz, Arnel “A.J.” Cruz; brother, George R. Marshall of Raleigh.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Melba Ruth M. Peele.  

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 29, 2021 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

A committal service will be held Friday, April 30, 2021 at Oakwood Cemetery with military honors.
