Exie Elizabeth (Evans) Hagwood

Exie Elizabeth Evans Hagwood, 74, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022. She was born June 12, 1948 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Morris Caldwell Evans and Marie Horton Perry Evans.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 with Pastor Betty Ann Hobbs officiating.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Harry Waldo Hagwood; daughter, Charlene Riggsbee; granddaughter, Taylor Riggsbee; brother, Morris C. Evans, Jr. (Trudy); and sister, Toni Mathis.

In addition to her parents, Exie was preceded in death by her daughter, Marnie Marie Hagwood.
