Elizabeth Ann Horton

Elizabeth “Ann” Horton, affectionately known as "Dinkie" , 54, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022. She was born May 17, 1967 in Franklin County to Patricia Wallace Horton and the late George Bailey Horton. Ann worked as a bookkeeper at Morgan’s Tax Accounting & Advisory. 

A service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 am, Friday, May 20, 2022 at Baptist Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1599 NC Hwy 231, Wendell.         

The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, May 19, 2022 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. 

The family has asked that casual attire be worn to the visitation and the memorial service. 

In addition to her mother, Patricia, she is survived by her husband, Carlton Lee Bailey, Jr.; sons: Robbie Horton (Amanda), Seth Robertson (Kennedy Lopez); brother, Tony Horton; nieces and nephews: Michael, Justin and Jake Horton, Kelli, Brian, Becky and Daniel Burton, Matthew, Stephen, Maggie, Olivia, Isaiah Bailey; mother and father-in-law, Carlton & Dorothy Bailey; brother-in-law, Matt Bailey (Candice); sister-in-law, Kris Burton and her fur babies: Cash, Bacon, Sasha, Mikie and Aggie. 

In addition to her father, Ann was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, James Burton.
