Edna Grace (Phillips) Cozart

Edna Grace Phillips Cozart, 93, passed away Monday, December 9, 2019. She was born December 10, 1925 in Wake County to the late Relmon Phillips and Emma Grace Wheeler Phillips. Edna graduated from Wakelon High School. After the death of her husband, William Haywood Cozart in 1983 Edna worked at Buttons and Bows Daycare. Edna was devoted to her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The family will have a time of visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, December 12, 2019 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale.

A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, December 13, 2019 at Wendell Baptist Church, 3651 Wendell Blvd, Wendell. Burial will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.

Edna leaves to cherish her memory, son, William David Cozart and wife, Emma; grandchildren: Phillip Thomas Cozart and wife, Brandi, Grace Ann Cozart; sister, Frances Jones and husband, Stanley.

In addition to her parents and husband, Edna was preceded in death by her sister, Marie P. Bohlen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wendell Baptist Church, 3651 Wendell Blvd, Wendell, NC 27591.
