Douglas "Doug" Wayne Sanders

Douglas “Doug” Wayne Sanders, 75, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022. He was born September 27, 1946 in Nash County to the late Hilton Sanders and Georgia Bass Sanders. Doug graduated high school and attended one year of college before he entered the US Army. After a long successful sales career, he was a self-employed real estate agent for many years.

A service to celebrate his life will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Trinity Baptist Church, 4815 Six Forks Road, Raleigh.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 am at the church.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm, Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Samaria Baptist Church Cemetery, Middlesex with Military Honors.

He is survived by his wife, Julia “Judy” McIntyre Sanders; sons: Chris McLeod (Lori), Keith Sanders (Nikki); daughter, Kimberly Nicodemus (Gerry); grandchildren: Matthew, Emily, Faith, Jackson, Korah, Khloe; brothers: Kent Sanders (Judy), David Sanders, Greg Sanders (Brenda); sister, Susan Carter (Kim).
