Dorena (Richardson) Privette

Dorena Richardson Privette, 89, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022. She was born December 7, 1932 in Johnston County to the late Arthur Richardson and Mary Bailey Richardson. She was a bookkeeper for Jenkins Tobacco & Sheet Service, Inc. 

A funeral service will be held 12:00 pm, Saturday, November 26, 2022 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. Burial will follow at Pearce Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 11:00 to 11:45 am at the funeral home. 

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Privette Jones and husband, Danny; grandson, Cody Marshall Jones; special nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Dorena was preceded in death by her husbands: Marvin Cola Privette and Ovid David “O.D.” Jenkins. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
