Dipak Thakurdas Gulati

Dipak Thakurdas Gulati, 55, of Morrisville, North Carolina, passed away, Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Duke Hospital. 

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 30 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, North Carolina 27545.

Dipak was born April 2, 1965 in Gujarat, India to Shri Thakurdas and Premlata (Dua) Gulati. He graduated from BVM Engineering College in 1987 and received his masters in Computer Science from the University of Louisville in 1989. Dipak was employed as a software engineer by Elster Electric, and remained so for 25 years. He enjoyed different passions such as photography and volunteering. He spent many weekends volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his children and he will be dearly missed. 

Dipak is fondly remembered by his family, both in the United States and India.  

Dipak is survived by his two daughters: Pallavi Megha Gulati and Juhi Gulati of Morrisville, North Carolina; his brother, Omprakash and his wife, Vaijyanti of Gujarat, India; his brother, Ramchandra and his wife, Avinash of Delhi, India; his sisters: Neelam, Kanchanbala and Anita of Delhi, India; and his mother, Premlata Dua of Delhi, India. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Thakurdas Gulati of Delhi, India.
