Delores Mae Hollifield Vieregge, 61, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022. She was born January 11, 1961 in Wake County to the late Gurvis Leonard Hollifield and Katie Helen Mauldin Hollifield. Delores retired from NC State University in the food service department.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, August 12, 2022, followed by a memorial gathering at 7:00 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.
She will be inurned at Willow Spring Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery beside her husband, Buford.
She is survived by her brothers: Joseph Hollifield and Robert Hollifield; many nieces, nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Doyle Vieregge, Jr.; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
