First & foremost, Dave lived a life in which he wanted to Glorify Jesus as a Christian, a husband, father/grandfather & friend. He served the Lord in a variety of ways: as director of Youth for Christ, a deacon, an elder, a Sunday school teacher and Superintendent, a handyman around the church, an officer in Full Gospel Businessmen’s Association, leading Passover Seders and in church planting. His was a life WELL LIVED. He got his Bachelor’s Degree in forestry from North Carolina State and was the Superintendent of the West Virginia state tree nursery for 41 years. He served his community with various outreaches, with Kiwanis Club, with forest fire fighting and with defensive driving courses. He loved time with family especially family travel (taking us to 45 states & seeing God’s natural beauty) & regular game time. He also enjoyed sports, the news, and puzzles.
