Charles "Charlie" Blake Fowler

Charlie died at Transitions LifeCare after an 8 year battle with metastatic prostate cancer.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jack Fowler and Jean Walker Fowler.  He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Benjie; his brothers, Tom and Chris Fowler, and sister Susan Jill Fowler.  He was also blessed with many loving nieces and nephews.  In addition, he was also gifted with wonderful friends and neighbors and together they enjoyed many wonderful adventures.

Charlie was an extremely generous and giving person who will be missed by all.  To say he lived and enjoyed life to the fullest would be an understatement.

His many passions have included his love of his former pets, golf, yardwork, visiting the zoo, and the beach, the state fair, performances at DPAC, and most of all, Disney World.

A special thanks goes to Dr. Daniel George and the staff and Duke Cancer Center, Durham and also the staff at Transitions LifeCare, Raleigh.

Visitation; 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Monday, July 12, 2021 at L Harold Poole Funeral Service and Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.

A private service and burial will be held for family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
