Charles Wesley Tippett

Charles Wesley Tippett, 74, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020. He was born March 2, 1945 in Johnston County to the late Dillard Wesley Tippett and Beulah Mae Richardson. Charles honorably served his country in the US Army and made his career in the textile industry. 

Funeral service 7:00 pm, Thursday, February 27, 2020 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale.   

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home and other times at the home. 

A private graveside service will be held at White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in Clayton. 

Surviving: sons: Jeremy Tippett and wife, Mechelle of Selma, Wayne Tippett and wife, Allyson of Clayton; grandchildren: Lawson, Logan and Avery.   

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kay Liggins Tippett in 2018.
