Charles Raymond Stott

Charles Raymond “Ray” Stott, 83, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 after a very short battle with acute myeloid leukemia. He was born July 27, 1937 in Durham County to the late William Elmore Stott and Evelyn Carter Stott. Ray was a proud graduate of NC State University. He retired as an Electrical Engineer from the Department of Defense with 35 years of service.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 pm, Saturday, January 16, 2021 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery, in Wendell. For anyone unable to attend, the service will be live streamed and can be viewed at the link below.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home.

Surviving: brother, Elmore C. Stott; nephews: Michael Ray Stott, David Stott; caregivers: John Ford and Cookie Valicenti.
