Buford Doyle Vieregge, Jr., 72, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021. He was born November 6, 1948 in San Francisco, CA to the late Buford Doyle Vieregge, Sr. and Agnes Farrow Vieregge.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, May 21, 2021 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, May 21, 2021 at Willow Spring Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Buford is survived by his wife, Delores Hollifield Vieregge; daughter, Shannon Capps; grandchildren: Jessica, Nicole, Nathan; great-grandchild: Kaylyn; brothers: Richard Doyle Vieregge, William Lee Vieregge (Cheryl); four half-brothers; five half-sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.   

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Buford Doyle Vieregge III, and a half-brother.
