Obituary
Beverly Ruth Braswell Rackley, 72, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022. She was born December 8, 1949 in Nash County to the late James Arthur Braswell and Marie May Braswell. She graduated from high school and earned a degree as a registered nurse.
A service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 am, Friday, July 22, 2022 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. Burial will follow at New Knightdale Baptist Church Cemetery on Mailman Road in Knightdale.
The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 am at the funeral home.
She is survived by son, Christopher “Chris” Scott Rackley (Melinda); grandchildren: Faith and Sebastian Rackley; sister, Lynda B. Hile; special nephews: Jim Slape (Trish), Douglas Slape (Christi); great nephews: William Slape, Nicholas Slape, Zach Slape; great niece, Gabrielle Slape.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Rackley and great nephew, Jimmie Slape.
