Betty Lou (Barham) Richardson

Betty Lou Barham Richardson, 75, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born August 27, 1948 in Franklin County to the late Wiley Robert Barham and Charlottie King Barham.

She is survived by her daughters: Toots Richardson (Daren), Donna Gail Richardson (Lee); sons: Larry David Richardson (Marie), Roger Dale Richardson (Amanda); sisters: Bonnie B. Bunn, Lucy B. Tant; grandchildren: Kristie Richardson, T.J. Ezzell, Adam Murray, Austin Murray, Madison Richardson Zipperian, Ryan Richardson, Steele Richardson; great-grandchildren: Brooklyn, Jordan, and Layla; and a special caregiver, Tammy Honeycutt.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Larry Dale Richardson; sisters: Mavis Moseley, Edna Tant, Nancy Moseley, Judy Richardson; brothers: John Robert Barham and Donald Barham.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 25, 2023 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. Entombment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 809 W. Gannon Avenue, Zebulon, NC 27597.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, November 24, 2023 at the funeral home and other times at her home in Wendell.
