Benjamin Joseph "Ben" Rizzuti, Sr.

Benjamin Joseph “Ben” Rizzuti Sr., 47, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021 after years of declining health. Ben was born January 23, 1974 in Wake County to the late Benjamin Rizzuti and Joyce Boughman Rizzuti. Ben graduated from Garner High School and honorably served his country in the US Marine Corps. He worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a floor supervisor until his health declined.

He is survived by his son, Benjamin Joseph “Joey” Rizzuti Jr.; fiancé, Stephenie Nicole Overton; siblings: Tina Rizzuti, Dolores Payne, Donna Oxendine, Leonard Rizzuti, Guenyvere Rizzuti, Morgan Rizzuti; numerous nieces and nephews; and Joey’s mom, Bobby Jo Sandlin Truax.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm, Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Watkins Chapel Baptist Church, 5897 NC Hwy. 231, Middlesex, NC 27557.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in the church sanctuary.
