Audrey Mae (Ponder) Thiede

Audrey Mae Thiede, age 93, passed away peacefully and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 14, 2022. She was born May 3, 1929, in Kentucky to the late William Ponder and Virginia Sandlin Ponder. In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Donald B. Thiede. Audrey was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; always caring for others.

She is survived by her sons: Gary Thiede and his wife, Bonnie, Donald Thiede and his wife, Judy; grandchildren: Julie, Brad, Brian, Don Jr., and Angie; great-grandchildren: Lauren, Matthew, Abree, Brant, Tyler, and Angel; and one great-great grandchild, Olivia.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, November 21, 2022, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 12:45 pm at the funeral home.
