Annie "Ann" (Gulley) Robertson

Annie “Ann” Gulley Robertson, 98, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021. She was born April 19, 1923 in Orange County to the late Waldo Pierce Gulley and Mamie Shaw Gulley. Annie graduated from Cary High School and worked as a telephone operator for Southern Bell for twelve years and retired from USF&G Insurance Company after 15 years of service. After her retirement, her greatest joy was preparing Sunday lunches for her family and their friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, 3417 Rolesville Road, Wendell, NC 27591. For the safety of everyone in attendance, the family request that masks be worn.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Kay R. Lindsay (David); son, Robert Rudolph “Bobby” Robertson, Jr. (Liz); grandchildren: Josh, Adam, Aaron, Ashlynn, Jordan-Lynn; 10 great-grandchildren; and 4 step-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rudolph Robertson; and her siblings: Melba Sorrell, William Gulley and Grover Gulley.
