Annie (Davis) Wagner

Annie Davis Wagner, 93, passed away Friday, January 13, 2022, at WakeMed. She was born February 17, 1929 in Orange County to the late Frank Edward Davis and Lizzie Tilley Davis. Annie honorably served her country in the United States Navy for 4 years and retired from the North Carolina Division of Employment Security Commission as a proofreader.

She is survived by her daughter Karen Hope Wagner of Chapel Hill; son Grady Scott Wagner of Everett, WA; grandchildren: Elizabeth Anne Wagner Ecklund, Sara Katharine Howe, and Kayla Lynn Wagner; great-grandchildren: Chloe Jonas, Rose Jonas, and Carmen (Orbit) Jackson; sisters: Dorothy D. Henderson, Betsy D. Weathers and husband Bobby.

In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her sister Ruby Davis Arnold, and grandson Christopher Michael Silverman.

Annie’s wishes were to be cremated and no services held at this time.
