Willie Graham Medlin

Willie “Graham” Medlin, 89, passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday, March 19, 2019. He was born January 13, 1930 in Wake County to the late Will Alonza Medlin and Appie Phillips Medlin. Graham honorably served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a retired tobacco farmer and also worked as a stage technician at the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium.

Funeral service 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church, 3328 Forestville Rd, Raleigh. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors. 

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the church.

Surviving: daughter, Angela Terry (Ricky); sons: Willie Medlin (Jackie), Danny Medlin, Billy Medlin (Brenda); grandchildren: Katie Medlin, Colton Medlin, Craven Barnette, Taryn Connelly (Scott), Taylor Pierson (Brad), Wesley Medlin (Catherine), Adam Keith (Aubrey); great-grandchildren: Cohen Pierson, Austin and Avery Keith; sister, Janice Frazier; brothers: Garland Medlin (Becky), Skinny Medlin (Nita).

In addition to his parents, Graham was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Watkins Medlin; sisters: Mildred Medlin, Margaret Kashuba; brothers: Jack Medlin, Rudolph Medlin.
