God strengthens us by giving us the "power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Psalm 46:1 says: "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7) jw.org

My heartfelt condolences during your time of bereavement. Many can relate to what it feels like to be touched by death. What has helped my family to cope were scriptures such as John 5:28,29; Revelation 21:3,4; 1 Peter 5:7. Reading and thinking on these scriptures can help to bring you comfort and strength in the weeks and months to come. Knowing that your loving heavenly Father understands and cares about what you're going through at this time can be a real source of strength and comfort.

Sorry about the passing from this world of a loved one. We did not know Walter
that well only meeting him briefly at some company functions where Dorthoy
worked.
We can see Walter was one AOK fellow . Missed greatly here, but welcomed in Heaven.
Our best to Dorthoy, family, & friends --- Harold Dickerson

You were a great man and I will keep you in my heart for as long as I live. You were filled with goodness and just enough mischief to keep life interesting. You were my first crush, i remember asking my mom if we could keep you if Aunt Dorothy changed her mind about marrying you.
You showed me my first snake and told me how to be safe around them... and tho I was very young (not old enough for school then) you talked to me as if I were all grown up or at least that is how I felt. You and Aunt Dorothy took me to my first car races which I loved and still do. .I know I asked you a billion questions when I was little and you taught me a lot with your thoughtful ways and words. You didn't use a lot of words but the words you used were meaningful, You showed me how to lay bricks and while we did that ..you talked about the importance of having a good foundation to build on weather it was for a house or building a family.. telling me its better to work slowly and make sure everything was good than to rush and make mistakes that could hurt me or others that I loved. All this and so much more you taught me by words, actions, and love. i thank God for you and have prayed for you and all of our family for as long as I can remember. The first time I saw Cinderella I pictured you as a Prince and Aunt Dorothy was the beautiful princess. Neither of you will ever know how much I loved and love you... or how special you were and are to me, I love you and I know that you are still here with all those you loved and especially with your children and my auntie... and one day we will talk again... until then be in peace and enjoy the heavenly choir. .. I love you. By the way ... I always loved the fact that we shared the same day and month of birth.
