Wilford “Bill” Clifford Doner, Jr., 73, of 16230 Buffalo Road, Wendell, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016. Bill was born January 17, 1943 in Watertown, NY to the late Wilford Clifford Doner, Sr. and Lepha Jackson Doner. Bill honorably served his country in the United States Army.

He was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church. 

A service to celebrate his life will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Faith Baptist Church, 2728 Marks Creek Rd., Knightdale, NC 27545.

 The family will receive relatives and friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, September 23, 2016 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545.

 Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Jordan Road, Jordan, NY with Military Honors.

 Bill is survived by his wife, Leona M. Doner; children: Wilford Clifford Doner, III of Florida, Ruth O’Neil (Randy) of Lynchburg, VA, Martha Lobo of Clayton, Sarah Doner of Wendell, Paul Jeremenko, Jr. of Charlotte, Tania Wells (Alex) of Wendell, Christina Foutch (Jeff) of Garner; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Hallie Tenney of NY.

 In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shepherd’s Care Medical Clinic, 304 Pony Road, Zebulon, NC 27597.
