Vilas Dewitt Perry, Jr.

Vilas Dewitt Perry, Jr. 77, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018. He was born June 1, 1941 in Wake County to the late Vilas Dewitt Perry, Sr. and Clara Mae Stone Perry. Dewitt honorably served his country in the US Air Force. He received a degree from Kings Business College. Dewitt retired after 37 years as a computer system analyst with the NC Dept. of Transportation.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm, Saturday, November 10, 2018 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, 27545.

The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service from 4:30 to 6:00 pm.

Surviving: wife, Katherine Delories Smith Perry; son, Brian Dewitt Perry of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren: Chance Alan Perry, Blake Alan Perry, Cale Alan Perry.

In addition to his parents, Dewitt was preceded in death by his son, Lance Alan Perry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Transitions LifeCare or Duke Raleigh Cancer Center.
