Suzi Helen Blythe (Hogsett) Murr

Suzi Helen Blythe Hogsett Murr, 74, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Rex Healthcare after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Suzi was born September 14, 1943 in Provo, Utah to the late Sydney Newton Hogsett III and Helen Sprott Hogsett. She retired from the Wake County Public School System as a teacher’s assistant.

A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Faith Baptist Church, 2728 Marks Creek Road, Knightdale, 27545.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:45 pm at the church.

A private burial service will be held at Grace Chapel Church Cemetery in Sanford, NC.

Surviving: sons: Timothy Paul Murr (Denise) Chambersburg, PA, David Bruce Murr (Keri) of Concord, Joel Keith Murr (Elizabeth) of Sanford, Robert Andrew Murr (Vicki) of Raleigh, Stephen Lee Murr (Angela) of Athens, AL; daughter, Sharyn Joy Murr Loy (Jeff) of Raleigh; grandchildren: Shelby, Kaycee (Troy), Keighley, Keagan, Brandon (Kendra), Bryan, Jeremy, Anna, Jonah, Allyson, Ashleigh, Emilee, Tommy, Lindsey, Rylie Ann, Camden, Hudson, and Baylie Blythe; brothers: Sydney Hogsett (Dana) of Chattanooga, TN, Steve Hogsett (Linda) of Denver, CO; sister, Caryl Hogsett of Chattanooga, TN; the father of her children, Reverend Robert Keith Murr of Grand Junction, CO.

In addition to her parents, Suzi was preceded in death by sister, Betsy Hogsett LaPlant.
