We can look forward to the day when there will be no more sickness and death. Revelation 21:4 says: "And he God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)

I just learned about Sharon's death. I used to be her supervisor when she worked as a contractor for NIEHS. She was a very bright person and always helpful. I have been retired for almost 15 years so it has been a long time since I saw her, but my understanding was she was a great asset to NIEHS as well. I am very sorry for your loss.

I only knew Sharon through the internet, through a support group for ladies with uterine cancer. Even up to her last days, she was offering help and support for other ladies with the cancer. I am a marathon runner, and promised to run a race especially for Sharon, but because of the frigid cold weather, I could not get the race in before she died. But I'm still going to run it in her memory - the Mississippi River Half Marathon in Greenville, MS on Feb. 12. (If the weather is really bad, I might run the 5K race instead, because I too have cancer and worry about getting sick if I run in freezing temps.) I would like to send the medal I earn running that race to you all - something to remind you of how special Sharon was to so many ladies with our cancer, even in her last days.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was part of a Facebook group for Uterine Cancer. Sharon helped me several times. She was great at giving wonderful information for the newer members. When she entered Hospise, she shared what was done which helped several people to understand the process. Heaven has gained a wonderful, loving 👼!

Mike and Thomas,
We are deeply saddened on the loss of Sharon. Our hearts are heavy but filled with joy and fond memories of the times we always got to see you and Sharon and cruise with you two. We give thanks to God for bringing Sharon into the Hite family and thank him for removing the pain Sharon had to bear. We will be unable to attend Monday's visitation but our hearts and minds will be there.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
Doug and Barbara
