Seleta Ann (Stevens) Harper

Seleta Ann Stevens Harper, 83, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018. She was born March 28, 1935 in Wake County to the late William Claude Stevens, Jr. and Seleta Felton Stevens. Seleta graduated from Broughton High School and Peace College, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Kennesaw State College in Kennesaw, GA. Seleta retired as an Administrative Assistant with the federal judge in the Court of Hearings and Appeals. 

Friends and family will be received at a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, June 22, 2018 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, NC 27545. 

Inurnment will take place at Westview Cemetery, on the plot with her late husband Lionel Barrymore Harper who preceded her in death on August 31, 2012. 

Surviving: daughter, Catherine Hoefer of Overland Park, Kansas; son, David E. Harper (Amber) of Marietta, Georgia; grandchildren: Michelle, Melanie, Michaela and Monica Hoefer. 

In addition to her parents and her husband, Seleta was preceded in death by her sister, Claudia Kay S. Harris.
