Rocky Wayne Weaver, 57, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem after many months of declining health. Rocky was born in Wake County on July 27, 1960 to the late William Nathan Weaver and Emma Weathers Weaver.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 17, 2017 at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 809 W. Gannon Avenue, Zebulon, NC 27597.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:30 pm, Friday at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 and other times at the home of Mary Ann Brock, 522 N. First Avenue, Knightdale, NC 27545 (919-266-0824).                  

Surviving is his daughter, Rebecca Lynn Weaver; sister, LaRue Weaver Winfield of Zebulon; as well as a host of special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and close friends.

The family is seeking contributions to help offset funeral expenses to finalize his plans. Contributions may be at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 by either cash, check, or credit card in Rocky’s name.
