Robert “Bob” Mason Baker, 74, passed away September 29, 2016 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield after a long battle with cancer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Etheridge Augustus Baker and Henrietta Mosley Baker; his brother, Bill Baker. 

Bob is survived by his wife, Carolyn Roberts Baker; daughters: Audra Baker (Nikki) and Sharon Pegram. He leaves a large extended family including brothers: Mike (Sharon), Mel (Linda), Brad and sister-in-law, Judy.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, October 3, 2016 at Samaria Baptist Church, 3621 Poole Road, Raleigh, 27610. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, 27545 and other times at the home.

While flowers are welcome, contributions may be made in Bob’s memory to Samaria Baptist Church Endowment Fund.
