My condolences to the family: When someone dies we ask, "Will they live again"? The Bible writer, Job asked the same question please read, Job 14:14-15. 1 Corinthians 15:26 shows that God views death as an enemy just like you do. The scriptures also assures us that God is eager to resurrect your loved one who is now sleeping in the grave.- John 5:28-29. That will be a beautiful time. Dick Hurley was a kind, generous person, always willing to help others. We were neighbors, just two lots between us but in different subdivisions. He walked to my house several times to help me with my computer. Would like to have known him in the business world and known him sooner.

I met Dick as a fellow Guardian ad Litem and, as we got to know each other and he learned more about my work, he referred many children to our youth development program for camp throughout the years. So many smiles happened for children going through some very difficult circumstances and they happened because of his persistent efforts. Dick was an exceptional advocate for children in foster care and touched so many lives. I am lucky to have known him and to have been inspired by him. My condolences to the family on what I know is a great loss.
