Richard Lee Faison, 69, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 at Duke University Hospital. He was born March 17, 1950 at Fort George G. Meade Military Base in Anne Arundel County, MD.
Rich is survived by his wife, Thi Loan Le Faison; his four children: Christin Brooke Faison & significant other, Michael A Guarino, Jr., Russell Jordan Faison & wife Rachel Fowler Faison; grandsons: Colton & Carter Faison; son, Lee Joseph Faison & wife Ashley Hill Faison; stepson, Tran, The Quan; and his sister, Janet Danaher.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brothers: Robert Faison & Daniel Andrew Faison; many of his beloved colleagues, friends, pets & students that he met along his life’s journey are waiting for him with open arms.
Rich was a great lover of golf & deeply committed to seeing the growth & development of children, both in life & on the links. Being a good father & putting family first were top priorities for Rich. He was also deeply committed to helping others in any way he could.
A service to celebrate Rich’s life will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, May 3, 2019 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.
