March 30, 1963 ~ March 17, 2018 (age 54) 54 Years Old

Obituary

Mitchell, “Mitch” Debnam Arnold, 54 years old, unexpectedly left us to be with his Lord on March 17, 2018.  Mitch was born in Raleigh to David Roscoe and June Liles Arnold, his surviving parents of Wendell, NC.  Mitch grew up in Wendell, and never left, living just two miles from his parent’s  home. Mitch was so proud when he became a Master Electrician in 1995, and has since been a well respected member of the commercial lighting industry. Mitch was known for his humor, his unparalleled customer service and his hard work in many states throughout the southeast. Most recently, Mitch served as President of Operations for Light-Serve Corporation.

Mitch married Lisa Yarborough on 8/15/87, and from that day forward, they were inseparable.  They were proud parents of Sydney Alexandra and Mitchell Debnam Arnold, Jr. Mitch and Lisa had a large extended family, and enjoyed the love of family and friends. Mitch had a passion for cooking, gardening and he and Lisa always looked forward to NASCAR Sundays together. Mitch’s humor was unparalleled, his smile contagious, his laughter infectious and he never met a stranger. Those who were lucky enough to know Mitch, loved him dearly.

Mitch is survived by his wife Lisa, his treasured children: Sydney and Mitchell and his fur-ever friend and companion, Leo. Mitch is also survived by his parents, David Roscoe and June Liles Arnold; his sister, Patricia and his brother David (Judy). “Uncle Mitch” had many nieces and nephews, as well as a vast number of brother and sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm, Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Hephzibah Baptist Church, 1794 Wendell Blvd, Wendell, 27591.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 4:30 to 5:45 pm in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the North Carolina Chihuahua Rescue at RescueMe.Org.

Mitch, our memories of you will live on forever in our hearts and in our souls, you will always be with us.  Until we meet again….
