Mattie (Williams) Britt

Mattie Williams Britt, 95, of Raleigh, NC peacefully passed away on May 10, 2018.  She was born August 14, 1922 in Wake County to the late Samuel Leonidus Williams and Bernice Ruth Williams, and left a large legacy to all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Richard Britt (Barbara), Charles Britt (Linda), Tom Britt (Nancy); grandchildren, Dallas Britt (Laura), Amanda Britt, Rick Britt (Carrie), Charlie Britt (AJ), Jonathan Britt (Sara Holliday); great grandchildren, Brandi Brantley, Alexandra House, Andrew House, Sarah House, Savannah House, Kacey Britt, Mia Britt, Andie Britt, Zoe Britt & Madison Britt; great great grandchildren Jaxson Trevino, Abel Trevino, Quinton House, Carson Taylor, Sebastian Taylor; brother Connie Williams (Cathy), and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Chester in 1989, great grandson Thomas Alan Brantley, her sister, and 5 brothers.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
