Mary Winston “Bugg” Pair, 82, passed away peacefully at her home on September 4, 2016. She was born March 1, 1934 in Franklin County to the late Johnnie Gray Winston and Mary Candace Scarborough Winston. She graduated from Wendell High School 1953 and received a two year degree from Campbell College. As long as her health permitted she was an active member of Knightdale Baptist Church. Bugg was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a special friend to many.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Knightdale Baptist Church, 15 Main Street, Knightdale, NC 27545. Burial will follow at New Knightdale Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale and other times at the home 7817 Knightdale Blvd., Knightdale, NC 27545.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Percy V. Pair Jr.; son, Johnnie Winston Pair of Knightdale; daughter, Martha Pair Neeley of Whites Creek, TN; grandsons: Garrett Winston Pair and Thomas Eli Neeley; brother, Johnny Eli Winston (Rose) of Overland Park, KS; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lucy W. “Sassy” Goode.
