God strengthens us by giving us the "power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Psalm 46:1 says: "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! I condolences go out to Marlon's family. I enjoyed the friendship of Marlon as a coworker and friend while employed at DOT., Materials & Tests Unit. Marlon was friendly and a good Christian person. I feel consoled because I believe he is resting in heaven. I urge his family to take consolation in Marlon's integrity and character while he lived here on earth. May God bless & strengthen them in the coming days.
Sincerely,
Robert R. ( Bobby) Baker

Sherrie:

We all loved LaVerne, Marcelline, and Clinton. Take heart and remember their suffering is over, and they are rejoicing with the Lord, along with Frankie and Mike.

We love you and are praying for you.

I am truly sorry for your loss, Marlon was a kind and special person. He always made the people around him feel wanted and recognized, I don't remember a time that he didn't greet me with a hearty "Hey buddy" and a smile. I met Marlon at the first Bluegrass jam I ever went to — I was nervous and not sure of the "Bluegrass rules", so I tried to hide in the back of the crowd, and it was my good luck that Marlon was in the back playing Bass. He gave me that big smile and said "sit right there Buddy' and from that time on he didn't stop helping and encouraging me. I am going to miss Marlon dearly and will always enjoy the memory of us singing "Somebody robbed the Glendale train" from the back row at the jam. Take care buddy.

We are so saddened at the passing of Melton. We will miss seeing this kind gentle man at the Thursday night jams. He always had a smile for everyone. Our prayers are 9with Betty and his family that they will find comfort in knowing he is in the arms of our Lord and Savior now.

My heartfelt condolences for your loss. May the God of comfort, comfort you as you mourn the loss of Marlon . Many can relate to what it feels like to be touched by death. What has helped my family to cope were scriptures such as John 5:28,29; Revelation 21:3,4; 1 Peter 5:7. Reading and thinking on these scriptures can help to bring you comfort and strength in the weeks and months to come. Knowing that our loving heavenly Father understands and cares about what you're going through can be a real source of strength.
