Laura Ann (Miller) Fox

Laura Ann Fox, 66, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 16th, 2018. She was born on August 13, 1951 in San Diego, California. 

Laura was preceded in death by her parents; Guy Craig Miller and Mary Ada Ross Miller; and brother, Stephen Craig Miller. 

She is survived by her best friend and the love of her life, husband of 44 years, Terry Warde Fox and children: Ryan Terry Fox, Jeffery Miller Fox (Penny), Jennifer Mary Fox Davis (Allen) and two adored grandsons: Gabriel Fox Davis and Jonas Morgan Fox. 

Laura graduated from Ohlone University in Fremont, California in 1973 with a degree in English & American Literature. The greatest joy of her life was to work with children. She passionately and sacrificially served preschoolers, children, and special needs departments for the last 45 years. She was a long-time member of Hephzibah Baptist Church in Wendell, N.C., and served the Lord as a Special Needs Sunday School teacher for many years. Laura spent the last years of her life devoting her time and energy to her two loving grandsons. They both thought the world of their “Moomah”. She also enjoyed family beach trips, reading, coloring book club and corresponding with life-long friends. 

Friends and family will be received at a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 21, 2018  at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory in Knightdale, N.C. A private celebration of life will take place on the North Carolina coast at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent for the Very Special People Class at Hephzibah Baptist Church, 1794 Wendell Blvd, Wendell, N.C. 27591.
