We can look forward to the day when there will be no more sickness and death. Revelation 21:4 says: "And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)

Bea, Just heard yesterday about Ken's passing, I was at a brunch with a lot of old nurses from Western and Southern Wake, everyone there had a "Ken" story and they were all good memories and most of them funny. He was a good guy and I know you and your family will surely miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Take care, Liz

Kenneth makes me laugh. That can be said by all that know him. I will keep that present tense, make and not switch to past tense made because; even though he is gone, I’m sure for the rest of our lives we will remember him fondly, and undoubtedly chuckle at his antics and stories. I have known of the Knightdale legend, that is Kenneth Tripp since, 1984 when I was 15 years old and interested in hot rods, classic cars and drag racing. Ask anyone interested in these topics within 100 miles and they know or have heard of Kenneth Tripp. Imagine the countless racing followers who save their ‘Bad Medicine’ t-shirt to wear only on special occasions, to this day. Over the past 15 years; I have spent lots of quality time with Kenneth and treasure his friendship and ability to lift my spirits at times that it was my intention to boost his. Naturally cars were a topic of conversation, but we always spoke of family too. He always expressed being proud of his son, Ken and daughter, Karina; not just for their professional accomplishments, but who they are as good family with many personal talents as well. As much as he beamed speaking of them; he gave all the credit to Berith for how well they turned out. Every time we talked; he spoke of how much ‘B’ does for him and bragged about a meal she prepared or a painting she made. There were no short conversations:, especially in the latter years because there are grandchildren to brag about too. In the past few years we mainly talked about family and our appreciation for those around us; and not as much about cars. Of course there were always jokes and stories of pranks at work or from childhood. There are so many of these that I rarely heard him repeat one to me, because there was always another one to come. I always say; you are assigned your family and you get to choose your friends. He considered himself very fortunate in regards to both. Humble with his character; for me he could offer the sage advice of a father, being 31 years my senior, not overbearing, more like a brother, but I cherished most to be included as a friend. He grew up in the era of tough guys, concealing his pain, and sad emotions, but there is no doubt the magnitude of love he has for his family and his appreciation for a long list of friends. I know this loveable guy is at peace; and my hope for all those connected to Kenneth will be able to grieve briefly for our personal loss, but let his humorous spirit prevail. That is what Kenneth would want. His gift is to leave us with a smile and laughing. With love and adoration, Marc Gottlieb, Michele, Emily and Dylan.

Please accept our condolences. We were never formally introduced but we live on Westover Drive & saw him drive by our house many times in one of his classic cars. May the Lord give you grace at this time.

Praying for the family. We were so lucky to have known this family for many many years. Racing together was so much fun but just hanging with Kennith was a gift he was smart kind and funny. Bless this family at this time of need.
