Judy (Wall) Jones

Judy Wall Jones, 68, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Rex Healthcare after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 15, 1949 in Wake County to the late Sigma Clyde Wall and Frances Bunn Wall. Judy graduated from Vaiden Whitley High School in 1968. She retired from Knightdale Elementary School as a teacher’s assistant. Judy was a wonderful wife, mother, Nana, sister and friend to many.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Knightdale Baptist Church, 15 Main Street, Knightdale, NC 27545. Burial will follow at New Knightdale Baptist Church Cemetery, Mailman Road, Knightdale.      

The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 and other times at the Jones home, 2104 R.C. Watson Road, Wendell, NC 27591.  

Surviving: husband, Robert Samuel “Bob” Jones; children: Jody Carison Jones (Diana) of Greenville, Justin Sigma Jones (Sherry) of Wendell, and Jessica J. Burgess (Jonathan) of Louisburg; grandchildren: Tyler, Brooke, Taylor, Samantha, and Madilyn; and her siblings: Randy Wall (Kathy) of Knightdale, Cindy W. Haskin (Jay) of Cary, and Freddy Wall (Diane) of Knightdale
