Janie (Patterson) Lassiter

Janie P. Lassiter, 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 5, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Janie was a devout Christian and held strong in her faith, she loved her family and was always a comfort to everyone around her. She was born September 7, 1937 in Franklin County to the late James R. Patterson and Helen Beddingfield Patterson. 

Graveside service 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Montlawn Memorial Gardens, 2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, 27603. 

Surviving: daughter, Cheryl Lassiter of Knightdale; sons: Steven Lassiter (Melinda) of Middlesex, Kevin Lassiter (Lori) of Knightdale; grandchildren: Joshua, Zachary and Devin Lassiter; brothers: Robert “Bobby” Patterson (Violet) of Garner, Jerry Patterson of California, Jack Patterson of Thailand; sister, Nancy Pulley of Henderson. 

In addition to her parents, Janie was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis E. Lassiter and brother, James R. Patterson, Jr.
