Obituary
James Russell “Rusty” Galloway, 61, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Transitions LifeCare. He was born October 2, 1956 in Wilson County to Franklin D. Galloway and Louellen Harrell Galloway of Wilson. Rusty worked as a manager in data research with R.T.I. in Research Triangle Park.
A private family visitation will be held 5:30 pm, Tuesday, August 21, 2018 with a public visitation from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545.
Rusty’s wishes were to be cremated with visitation by family and friends only.
In addition to his parents, Rusty is survived by his wife, Amy Galloway; son, Glen Franklin Galloway of the home; daughters: Mary-Kate Mannino (Paul) of Kutztown, PA; granddaughter, Evie Mannino; brother, Jeff Galloway of Black Creek; sister, Deborah Denton of Stanfield; several nieces and nephews.
Rusty was preceded in death by his brother, J. Franklin Galloway.
Rusty suggested that flowers be omitted and donations be made to Wake County SPCA or Duke Cancer Research.
