Harold Milo Hicks

Harold Milo Hicks, 82, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018. He was born October 16, 1935 in Wake County to the late Jesse Robert Hicks and Laura Lloyd Hicks. Harold retired after 35 years of service as a cable repairman for Southern Bell/AT&T.

Funeral service 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 2, 2018 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:45 pm at the funeral home and other times at the home.

Surviving: wife, Edna Earle Bailey Hicks; daughters: Cindy Hicks Bunn (Greg) of Raleigh, Wanda Hicks Miller of Boone; grandchildren: Michael Meares, Heather Bunn, Joshua Bunn, and Sarah Miller.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by daughter, Deborah Hicks Meares; brother, Jesse R. Hicks, Jr.; sister, Shelby Ann Hicks; and step-mother, Lila Hicks.
