Gordon Eugene Jones

Gordon Eugene Jones, 75, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019. He was born October 29, 1943 in Wake County to the late Casper Gordon Jones and Doris Fuller Bradley. Gordon honorably served his country in the US Army. He later made his career in finance.

Funeral service 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 8, 2019 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.

The family will receive relatives and friends Friday, June 7, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Surviving: wife, Suzanne Marie Tilley Jones; children: Rhonda Jean Cielo (Ken) of Simpsonville, SC, Greg Jones (Christi) of Cary, Tami J. Casey (Johnny) of Sanford; grandchildren: Kevin, Megan, Gregory, Elijah, Brittany, Paul; siblings: Bob Jones (Becky) of Raleigh, Cathy Brown (Steve) of Raleigh; numerous nieces and nephews.                         

In addition to his parents, Gordon was preceded in death by sister, Georgia Keller.
